WHAT TO EXPECT
Sun. morning – 10:00 a.m., come as you are – typically people come in casual & business casual clothing; This service is traditional Presbyterian with organ & piano music, hymns, prayers, scripture readings, sermon, & collection of the offering;
Communion is usually served on the 1st Sunday of month and on special services at other points throughout the year. All who believe in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive it. During the Saturday service, Communion is offered through intinction – people come forward to receive the gluten-free bread, dip it into the cup, and return to their seats. On Sundays, Communion is usually served by passing it through the pews with people eating the bread when they receive it and sometimes holding onto the cups until all have been served; on occasion, Communion is offered by intinction.
Baptisms occur with approval by the pastor and session and ordinarily occur during worship services.
